Humber Bay Sailing Centre

Humber Bay Sailing Centre is a not-for-profit keelboat sailing school and boat-share club at 100 Humber Bay Park Road West in Etobicoke, on Toronto's western waterfront. Sailing on the site goes back to Humber College, which offered boat handling and navigation courses from 1972 and opened a year-round facility in Humber Bay Park in 1984 as the Humber Sailing and Powerboating Centre; the college program ended in 2015. Today HBSC trains more than 250 students a year toward Sail Canada and International Yacht Training keelboat certifications. The boat-share club has about seven keelboats from 24 to 34 feet, which some 80 members can book in morning, afternoon and evening slots seven days a week, alongside a kayak and paddling club.
