Aquasail is India's largest leisure sailing operator, founded in 2004 by yachtsman Shakeel Kudrolli. Its Mumbai base operates from the Gateway of India, with sailing on Mumbai harbour along the Taj Mahal Palace hotel waterfront, and a linked beach sailing site across the bay at Mandwa near Alibaug. The company runs a fleet of more than 80 boats across its locations, from beach dinghies and windsurfers to sports and cruising yachts. The Aquasail Yachting Academy offers over 15 structured courses for adults and children, from introductory sails to certified keelboat and dinghy training. Day experiences, corporate regattas and a membership club with fleet access are also offered.
