Jachthaven 't Huizerhoofd

Location: Ambachtsweg 65, Huizen, Netherlands

Jachthaven 't Huizerhoofd is the largest full-service harbour in Huizen, on the south shore of the Gooimeer and reached from the lake via a marked channel. It has around 870 water berths for motor and sailing yachts from 5.5 to 15 metres, and with the winter storage yard included there is room for roughly 1,000 boats. The harbour was built in a former sand extraction pit and opened in May 1977, run by the Stichting Jachthaven Huizen that was founded in 1975 on the initiative of watersport club Gooierhaven. In winter the car park holds about 450 boats ashore. Each jetty has running water, shore power and wifi, and the site has its own fenced parking.
