Jachthaven 't Fissertje

Location: Beatrixlaan 42, Kaag, Netherlands

Jachthaven 't Fissertje lies on Kaageiland at the Eijmerspoel, one of the open stretches of the Kagerplassen in the Groene Hart between Leiden and Warmond. The harbour combines permanent moorings with a passantenhaven for visiting boats and runs its own rental fleet of sloops. Shore power at the guest berths is free and the showers cost one euro for around ten minutes. Restaurant Bij Benjamin sits next to the harbour with a terrace on the water. The Kagerplassen count as one of the oldest watersport areas in the Netherlands, and from the island a boat can reach Leiden, Warmond, the Braassemermeer and the Westeinderplassen without long detours.
