Jachthaven 't Balkengat
Location: Onder de Waal 26b, Krimpen aan de Lek, Netherlands
Jachthaven 't Balkengat lies on the right bank of the river Lek at Krimpen aan de Lek in the Krimpenerwaard, between kilometre markers 988 and 989 and close to the busy junction where the Lek, the Noord and the Nieuwe Maas meet. It is the first marina upstream of the Kinderdijk to Krimpen aan de Lek car ferry, which puts the UNESCO-listed Kinderdijk windmills directly across the water. The harbour offers 49 permanent berths and 10 guest berths for boats up to 15 metres, is open from April to October, and charges visitors 1.75 euros per metre per night.
