Jachthaven Rotterdam

Location: Noorderkade 120, Rotterdam, Netherlands

Jachthaven Rotterdam B.V. occupies a basin off the Noorderkanaal at Noorderkade 120, wedged between the A20 motorway and the northern districts of the city. The harbour caters for sloops, tenders and motor cruisers with berths from five to twelve metres, and trades on its position at a junction of cruising grounds: the Rotte leads north into polder country, while the Maas puts the Brielse Meer, the Kagerplassen and the Biesbosch within weekend range. Ashore the yard offers winter storage, parking, forklift boat handling and a self-service launching ramp, which makes it popular with trailer sailors as well as resident berth holders. Access from the river is via the Noorderkanaal.
