Jachthaven Midwolda

Location: Strandweg 1, Midwolda, Netherlands

Jachthaven Midwolda opened in 2007 on the northern edge of the Oldambtmeer, the 800 hectare lake dug for the Blauwestad development in east Groningen, and with around 200 berths it is the largest harbour in the region. Boxes come in 4, 6 and 8 metre widths, with reserved visitor boxes for boats up to 8.5 metres, and temporary berths can be rented by the day, week or month. The site has a boat fuel station, free showers, a free trailer slipway, a watersports shop, boat hire, a sailing school and camper pitches. A sandy beach and the villages of Midwolda and Oostwold lie close by.
