Jachthaven Meppel
Location: Zomerdijk 35, Meppel, Netherlands
Jachthaven Meppel is a small private marina on the Meppelerdiep at Zomerdijk, just outside the town centre of Meppel. The harbour offers roughly 25 permanent berths and 10 visitor places, all fitted with finger piers so crews can step ashore beside their own boat rather than clamber over neighbours. Facilities cover shore power, drinking water, showers, toilets, wash basins, a launderette, waste disposal points, WiFi and a children's play area. Visitor rates are modest, around one euro per metre per day. The Meppelerdiep links the town to Zwartsluis and the Zwarte Water, so the marina works well as a quiet alternative to the busier municipal moorings in the city canals.
