Jachthaven Meerzicht
Location: Herenweg 10a, Midlaren, Netherlands
Jachthaven Meerzicht occupies the southern shore of the Zuidlaardermeer at Midlaren, on the Drenthe side of the lake, and keeps a deliberately old-fashioned, relaxed character. The harbour has room for about 175 boats up to 15 metres and has been run by owner Daan Sikkens since 2010. A waterside pavilion serves food and drink with a view over the lake, and the rental fleet is the broadest on the Zuidlaardermeer, from sloops and motorboats to 16 square metre sailing boats, rowing boats, canoes and pedalos. A crane handles launching and recovery, and the site has its own parking and sanitary facilities. The marina is HISWA affiliated.
