Jachthaven Maran

Location: Skutmakkerspole 12, Terkaple, Netherlands

Maran operates its harbour at Terkaple, just east of the Sneekermeer in the middle of the Frisian lakes, the largest connected lake district in Europe. The family business draws on more than 35 years of experience and is best known as a HISWA-member charter firm with motorboats, sailing yachts and sloops, but it also lets berths at its own jetties on Skutmakkerspole. Sailing tuition and practical boat-handling instruction are offered on site, and a holiday cottage with its own water access is available through a Roompot partnership. The location gives immediate access to open Frisian water.
