Jachthaven Lunegat
Location: Kwelderweg 1, Dokkumer Nieuwe Zijlen, Netherlands
Jachthaven Lunegat lies at Dokkumer Nieuwe Zijlen on the edge of the Lauwersmeer, the sheltered freshwater lake in Nationaal Park Lauwersmeer on the Friesland-Groningen border. From a berth here a boat is under sail on the lake in about fifteen minutes, and the Wadden Sea is reachable in roughly fifty minutes via the lock at Lauwersoog. The marina is a full-service operation at Kwelderweg 1 with permanent berths, visitor berths, a maintenance and repair yard, winter storage ashore and camper pitches. The surroundings are quiet reed and water land known for rare birds. The office is open 08:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 17:30.
