Jachthaven Loosdrecht at Oud-Loosdrechtsedijk 79b takes an unusual approach: its roughly 40 berths are let with a strip of recreation ground rather than a finger pontoon, so owners can sit out beside their boat on their own patch of shore. The harbour lies on the eastern Drecht with direct routes to all five Loosdrechtse Plassen, the Hilversums Kanaal, the 't Zuwe and the river Vecht. Water depth is about 1.3 metres, which suits sloops, small motorboats and shallow draught sailing craft. Electricity, drinking water and free wifi are included, and places rarely come free.
