Jachthaven Lockhorst

Location: Sweilandstraat 7a, Warmond, Netherlands

Jachthaven Lockhorst has operated from the Sweilandstraat in Warmond since 1942 and remains a family business, run since 2005 by Jan-Willem Versluijs. The harbour lies on the Warmonder Leede with a direct link to the Kagerplassen through the Groote Sloot, and Leiden is within easy reach by water. This is a working yard as much as a mooring harbour: a 20-tonne boat lift, two modern mast cranes and full rigging services support indoor and outdoor winter storage, and there is a small shop for maintenance supplies plus storage for outboards and masts. Note for cruisers: the harbour has no visitor berths.
