Jachthaven Lauwersmeer

Location: Oostmahorn 31, Oostmahorn, Netherlands

Jachthaven Lauwersmeer at Oostmahorn is one of the largest marinas on the Lauwersmeer, the former sea inlet on the Friesland-Groningen border that is now a national park. The harbour counts 360 berths with 16-amp shore power on the pontoons, sanitary blocks with underfloor heating, a launderette, free WiFi, a watersports shop and the restaurant Het Raadsel van de Wadden. A boat lift handles vessels up to 20 tonnes and a trailer ramp serves smaller craft. The sheltered lake suits family sailing, while the lock at Lauwersoog opens the way to the Wadden Sea and tidal passages towards Schiermonnikoog.
