Jachthaven Laamens Akersloot
Location: Geesterweg 10, Akersloot, Netherlands
Jachthaven Laamens lies at Geesterweg 10 in Akersloot on the Alkmaardermeer, roughly midway between Alkmaar and Zaanstad. The harbour has more than 100 berths for sloops and for small and large sailing and motor yachts, with shore power, water, a sanitary building and ample parking. A 20 tonne crane, indoor and outdoor winter storage and an engine service workshop cover maintenance needs, and restaurant 't Kombuis operates on site. The Alkmaardermeer is a popular open sailing lake in Noord-Holland with onward connections through the North Holland canal network. The municipality has approved redevelopment of the site into housing of up to ninety apartments, so the marina's long-term future is uncertain.
