Jachthaven Kuikhorne
Location: Kukhernsterwei 31, De Westereen, Netherlands
Jachthaven Kuikhorne lies on the Frisian canal network at Kuikhorne near De Westereen, in the wooded Friese Wouden between two national parks, De Alde Feanen and the Lauwersmeer. The harbour has 275 berths for boats up to 12 metres, plus a passantenhaven for visitors. Facilities are extensive for a rural Frisian marina: diesel and petrol at the waterside pump, a modern sanitary building, indoor frost-free and outdoor winter storage, and DIY sheds for owners doing their own maintenance. Maril sloops can be rented, and the site also has about 50 camper pitches, chalets and holiday apartments. An EV charging point was added in 2024. The harbour is run by Hans and Jittie Mozes.
