Jachthaven Kudelstaart

Location: Kudelstaartseweg 226, Kudelstaart, Netherlands

Jachthaven Kudelstaart lies on the Westeinderplassen, the broad lake south of Aalsmeer where flower barges once worked the island nurseries. The harbour has about 250 fixed berths and 10 visitor berths, with electricity and water on the jetties. Facilities include a fuel pump for diesel and petrol, a toilet block with showers, a chemical toilet discharge point and access control on the grounds. From the harbour the Westeinder connects via the Ringvaart of the Haarlemmermeer to Amsterdam, Haarlem and the rest of the Hollandse plassen network, which makes Kudelstaart a practical base for both dinghy sailors on the lake and cruisers on longer routes.
