Jachthaven Kolhorn

Location: Ansjoviskade 22a, Kolhorn, Netherlands

Jachthaven Kolhorn occupies a small island off the Ansjoviskade in Kolhorn, a former Zuiderzee village in the municipality of Hollands Kroon, Noord-Holland. The harbour is managed by Stichting Watertoerisme Kolhorn, which bought the island with provincial support in 2015 and built a harbour office with a kiosk and cafeteria on it. There are around 100 permanent berths and 25 guest berths, with wifi across the whole harbour and fuel available. The village's wooden dike houses recall its seafaring past. By water, Kolhorn connects via the Kanaal Alkmaar-Kolhorn and the Waardkanaal towards Alkmaar and the Amstelmeer, a gateway to the Wadden Sea.
