Jachthaven Kokernoot

Location: Sluispolderweg 51, Zaandam, Netherlands

Jachthaven Kokernoot, also known as Jachtwerf Kokernoot, is a small private harbour at Sluispolderweg 51 in the Achtersluispolder industrial quarter of Zaandam, directly off the Noordzeekanaal. The location puts berth holders on one of the country's principal commercial waterways, with Amsterdam's IJ, the locks at IJmuiden and the North Sea all reachable without inland bridges. The business is run by harbour master Max Kokernoot and rents moorings on an annual basis; there are no visitor berths, so passing yachts should plan for the municipal and club harbours elsewhere on the Zaan. Opening hours run six days a week plus Sunday mornings.
