Jachthaven Kaagdorp

Location: Julianalaan 1c, Kaag, Netherlands

Jachthaven Kaagdorp lies on the Ringvaart of the Haarlemmermeerpolder at the village of Kaag, at the north end of the Kagerplassen in Zuid-Holland. The harbour has 80 fixed berths and six visitor spots, with additional mooring along the ringvaart, and harbourmaster Bert Gallas manages the day-to-day running. Facilities include free wifi, water and electricity at the berths, sanitary buildings, laundry and drying machines, a waste water station and parking. Harbour cafe 't Oppertje serves food, and there is a playground for children. The location works well as a base: the Kagerplassen are on the doorstep, and the Braassemermeer, the Westeinderplassen and the town of Leiden are each within about an hour under way.
