Jachthaven Jonkersgracht
Location: Jonenweg 1d, Giethoorn, Netherlands
Jachthaven Jonkersgracht is one of two small harbours run by the Kuiper family firm in Giethoorn, together with Jachthaven Kuiper on the Beukers-Steenwijk canal. Jonkersgracht lies on the village canal at Binnenpad 102, in the middle of the old boating village with its footbridges and thatched farmhouses. The harbour consists of covered berths only, around ten fixed places under a boat shed roof, and it takes no visiting yachts. Facilities are minimal, which fits its role as sheltered storage for local boats rather than a stopover port. Crews passing Giethoorn on the water should head for the larger harbours on the canal instead.
