Jachthaven & Jachtwerf Postma

Jachthaven en Jachtwerf Postma lies along the Leeuwarderstraatweg in Haskerdijken, on the old waterway between Heerenveen and Akkrum at the southern approach to the Frisian lakes. Brothers Wiebe and Harmen Postma took the business over from their parents in 2004; after Harmen died in 2021 the family ended its rental fleet and refocused on the harbour and the yard. The marina has around 90 berths with roughly a metre of water depth, spacious winter storage and its own lifting equipment. The workshop has installed bow and stern thrusters in steel vessels for more than 35 years and also takes on ship maintenance and paintwork. Akkrum, Terherne and the Sneekermeer are within easy reach by water.
