Jachthaven Hoek
Location: Jonenweg 1e, Giethoorn, Netherlands
Jachthaven Hoek lies at Jonenweg 1 in Giethoorn, on the Beukers-Steenwijk canal at the edge of national park Weerribben-Wieden. From the harbour you can be out on the wide water of the Beulakerwiede in minutes, and Meppel, Zwolle and the Frisian lakes are all reachable without locks of any consequence. The harbour has more than 50 berths, both boxes and alongside places, with seasonal berths regularly available. It is a working family business that combines moorings with boat services. Giethoorn itself draws visitors from around the world for its thatched farmhouses and punt-filled canals, but the harbour sits on the quieter canal side of the village.
