Jachthaven Het Anker
Location: Oosteinderweg 55, Loosdrecht, Netherlands
Jachthaven Het Anker is a family business of around 90 years' standing on the Oosteinderweg in Oud-Loosdrecht, set on the Eerste Plas and bordered by a nature reserve. It is a small, quiet harbour with about 50 fixed berths and 10 visitor places, marked from the dyke by orange flags, a tree-lined drive and two white harbour buildings; a VOC cannon and a large seventeenth century anchor stand on the grounds. Facilities include covered winter storage, boat maintenance, rental boats and holiday cottages. New jetties and well kept sanitary facilities give the nostalgic yard a modern standard.
