Jachthaven Heeresloot

Jachthaven Heeresloot at Tolvepad in Haskerdijken is first of all a sales harbour: the yacht brokerage that Erwin and Jeannette van Schalkwijk started in 2004 now handles more than a hundred motor yachts a year from its pontoons on the Heeresleat, the waterway that links Heerenveen with Akkrum and the Frisian lakes. The harbour is open seven days a week and keeps a limited number of guest berths with shore power, drinking water, toilets and showers. There is no fuel point, restaurant or shop on site, but Heerenveen lies a short distance to the south. Since the brokerage became the core business, permanent moorings play a smaller role than at neighbouring Jachthaven Postma.
