Jachthaven Furian
Location: Uiterweg 197, Aalsmeer, Netherlands
Jachthaven Furian is a small family-run marina on the Westeinderplassen at Uiterweg 197 in Aalsmeer. It has about 45 berths and has operated for roughly 50 years; Frans van Mierlo, present at the founding, joined full-time in 1974 and still manages the harbour. The yard runs its own rigging workshop with a large stock of stainless steel wire, a useful service for sailboat owners on the Westeinder. Winter storage on land is available for boats up to 7 tons, and a holiday cottage on the grounds can be rented year-round. The Westeinderplassen connect via the Ringvaart to the Amsterdam waterways, so day trips in several directions are possible from the berth.
