Jachthaven Friese Hoek Lemmer
Location: Vuurtorenweg 19, Lemmer, Netherlands
Jachthaven Friese Hoek sits directly on the IJsselmeer at Vuurtorenweg in Lemmer, beside the town's landmark lighthouse corner. The marina has around 250 berths for yachts from 7 to 18 metres, a quarter of them with side docks, and every berth carries an electrical connection. Through the historic Lemster sea lock the Frisian lakes open up behind the harbour, while Enkhuizen, Medemblik and even the Wadden islands are realistic passages from the outer breakwater. Ashore there is a cafe-restaurant, a watersports shop, ample parking and trolleys for provisions. The yard offers winter storage together with extensive yacht service and refit work, which makes it as much a maintenance base as a cruising harbour.
