Jachthaven Eiland van Maurik sits on the Nederrijn in the Betuwe, the fruit-growing region at the centre of the Netherlands, and forms part of the Eiland van Maurik leisure island. Berths run from 6 to 20 metres, with head jetties of 18 and 25 metres for larger craft, and the harbour basin carries around 4 metres of water. A fuel station sells petrol and diesel year round, and there is a trailer slipway, a heated sanitary block with free showers, a launderette and camera surveillance behind a barrier gate. The adjoining holiday park adds restaurants, an indoor pool, watersports hire and bike rental, which makes the harbour a practical family stop on a river passage.
