Jachthaven Edam (Gemeentehaven)

Location: Zeevangszeedijk 7, Edam, Netherlands

Jachthaven Edam is the municipal harbour of Edam on the western shore of the Markermeer, with its harbour office at Zeevangszeedijk 7f. Visiting boats can moor at four locations: the Buitenhaven outside the town, the Kom reserved for charter vessels, the Nieuwe Haven before the Baanbrug and the Klein Westerbuiten beyond the Klein Westerbuitenbrug. Electricity, water and waste containers are available at all four sites, and the harbour provides showers, toilets, laundry, WiFi, secured piers and a wastewater station. The historic cheese town of Edam, with its seventeenth-century centre, lies within walking distance of every berth, and Volendam and Hoorn are close by across the Markermeer.
