Jachthaven Dragt

Location: Stommeerweg 72, Aalsmeer, Netherlands

Jachthaven Dragt is the oldest marina in Aalsmeer, on the Westeinderplassen, a former peat lake south of Amsterdam and Schiphol. The business goes back to around 1889, when the Dragt family rented rowing boats to fishermen, and it remains in family hands today. The marina has about 350 berths in open water and in covered sheds that take boats up to 12 metres. On site are a 270 square metre watersport shop for parts and equipment, a brokerage for motor and sailing boats, and the restaurant Joseph Aan de Poel at the waterside. A rental fleet of sloops and traditional Dutch boats is available for exploring the lake and its island nurseries.
