Location: Kartuizenstraat 12, Raamsdonksveer, Netherlands
Jachthaven Dok 12 lies on the water at Raamsdonksveer in the municipality of Geertruidenberg, on the doorstep of the Biesbosch National Park. The harbour counts roughly 200 berths on an enclosed site with 24-hour camera surveillance, free parking, free showers and toilets, waste containers and both waste-water and bilge-water pump-outs. A trailer slipway, quayside winter storage, sloop hire and the in-house Boatsale yacht brokerage round out the services, and the SmaakWater brasserie overlooks the water. From the berths the tidal creeks of the Biesbosch, the Amer and the Bergsche Maas open up, one of the most rewarding motor-cruising and touring areas in the southern Netherlands.
