Jachthaven de Zwemmer

Location: De Zwemmer 7, Leeuwarden, Netherlands

Jachthaven de Zwemmer is a small private marina in Zuiderburen, a residential district on the southern edge of Leeuwarden. It has around 25 fixed berths and no visitor moorings, so passing crews should plan to stop elsewhere in the city. The harbour sits on the Nauwe Greuns, which joins the Van Harinxmakanaal, and maximum draught is 1.50 metres. Via the standing mast route, Earnewald and Grou on the Frisian lakes are within easy reach. Berth holders have shore power and water on the jetties, with toilets and showers in a floating harbour building of ecological design that runs on solar energy and treats its own waste water. The marina cooperates with the nearby Watersport Twee Provincien.
