Jachthaven De Welle
Location: Wetterwille 35, Heerenveen, Netherlands
Jachthaven De Welle is the larger of two harbours run by the Heerenveense Watersportvereniging Nannewijd, a club with more than 600 members. It lies on the Nieuw Heerenveense Kanaal northwest of Heerenveen: a big, quiet harbour with 375 open berths, most let by the year or season, and ample room kept for passing boats. On site are a fuel station, a boat lift, winter storage on the harbour grounds and a heated shed where owners can work on their boats year round. Harbour masters are present six days a week in season. The club's second harbour, De Bron, adds 140 covered and 50 open berths on the Leeuwarderstraatweg.
