Jachthaven De Watervriend

Location: Sjuwedyk 10, Uitwellingerga, Netherlands

Jachthaven De Watervriend lies at Sjuwedyk 10-12 on the edge of Uitwellingerga, a village strung along the water between Sneek and the Prinses Margrietkanaal in the Frisian lake district. The harbour is run as a family partnership, De Watervriend VOF, and offers fixed berths on sheltered jetties with a published harbour plan, plus the usual services for berth holders. From the moorings it is a short run to the Sneekermeer and the connected lakes of southern Friesland, which keeps the harbour popular with local sailors and motorboat owners who want an unfussy, quiet home port.
