Jachthaven De Schapenput

Location: Heensedijk 57a, De Heen, Netherlands

Jachthaven De Schapenput lies on the Steenbergse Vliet at De Heen in western Brabant, reached from the Volkerak through the old Benedensas lock complex. Boats with up to 2.50 metres draft can enter, which is generous for an inland creek harbour. The marina holds a Blue Flag with Green Pennant for environmental standards. Winter storage is available, and the harbour rents electric boats for up to six passengers. Glamping tents and floating eco-lodges on the grounds suit crew changes or family visits. The surroundings are quiet farmland and nature reserve. De Heen itself is a small village; Steenbergen, a few kilometres away, covers shopping and restaurants.
