Jachthaven de Schans
Location: Nieuwe Schans 2, Alphen aan de Maas, Netherlands
De Schans is a combined campsite and marina on a large inlet of the river Maas at Alphen aan de Maas, in the Land van Maas en Waal in Gelderland. The harbour has about 75 permanent berths and 10 guest places, charged at roughly 1 euro per metre per night. Shore facilities include a sanitary building, electricity at the berths and wifi. A small beach allows swimming in the Maas, and sup boards and boat trips are available in season. A bar with terrace serves drinks and snacks. The site is quiet and green, and suits crews who want a simple riverside stop between Nijmegen and Den Bosch.
