Jachthaven de Noord Aa

Location: Europaplantsoen 58, Hoogmade, Netherlands

Jachthaven de Noord Aa lies on the edge of Hoogmade, a small watersports village between Leiden and the Braassemermeer in Zuid-Holland. The harbour has just over 100 berths for boats of 6 to 11 metres, with summer and winter storage on the same grounds. The run to open water is short and bridge-free: the Does connects the village directly to the Braassemermeer, and the Kromme Does and Wijde Aa lie close by for quieter polder routes. Facilities include showers, shore power, a restaurant and a playground, with parking on site. Hoogmade itself has a supermarket and a couple of cafes, and Leiden is within easy cycling distance for crew changes or provisions.
