Jachthaven De Meerkant

Location: Zuideinde 111c, Roelofarendsveen, Netherlands

Jachthaven De Meerkant on the Braassemermeer at Roelofarendsveen has been in the hands of the Rodewijk family for three generations, with brothers Evert and Erwin now running the yard. The harbour offers around 80 berths, each reached by its own access jetty with electricity, plus freshwater points, showers and toilets, laundry machines, a barbecue area and enclosed parking behind a card-operated gate. A 12-tonne crane handles launching and lifting, and winter storage is available outdoors or in a heated shed. From the Braassemermeer the Kagerplassen, Westeinderplassen, Nieuwkoopse Plassen and the through-route to Amsterdam are all comfortable day sails for cruisers and open boats alike.
