Jachthaven De Lemsterpoort
Location: Jachthaven 7, Sloten, Netherlands
Jachthaven De Lemsterpoort lies just outside the walls of Sloten, the smallest of Friesland's eleven cities, between Lemmer and Woudsend in the former municipality of Gaasterlan-Sleat. The harbour is substantial, with around 300 permanent berths and some 50 places for visiting boats, and the town centre is barely two minutes away on foot. Water and electricity run to the pontoons, and after the season the yard offers winter storage in heated warehouses, taking boats from other harbours as well as its own. Camper and camping pitches round out the site. Meadows border one side and the Brandemeer the other, with the full Frisian lake circuit within easy reach.
