Jachthaven De Horizon

Location: Sweilandpolder 10a, Warmond, Netherlands

Jachthaven De Horizon is a small campsite harbour in the Sweilandpolder on the eastern side of Warmond, away from the village and reached along the polder road at Sweilandpolder 10a. The harbour guide lists ten permanent berths and no dedicated visitor places, with water depth of one and a quarter to two metres. Facilities are basic: drinking water taps, toilets and showers, but no shore power, fuel or shop. Its appeal is the setting rather than the services, with quiet moorings on the fringe of the Kagerplassen and the open polder behind. The associated campsite gives the site its low-key, seasonal character.
