Jachthaven De Hanze
Location: Holtenbroekerdijk 42, Zwolle, Netherlands
Jachthaven De Hanze is a family-run marina on the north-west edge of Zwolle, close to where the Zwarte Water leaves the Hanseatic city towards Hasselt and the IJssel delta. The business has been in family hands for more than 25 years and combines moorings with boat storage, a harbour shop and boat hire, so day trippers can get afloat without owning a vessel. Camper pitches beside the harbour are let year round, a sideline that keeps the site busy outside the sailing season. Diesel is no longer sold on the harbour. From the berths, crews reach the Overijssel lakes, Zwartsluis and Genemuiden within an easy half day, with the IJsselmeer beyond the Zwartemeer.
