Jachthaven De Grote Wielen
Location: Bûtlân 1, Leeuwarden, Netherlands
Jachthaven De Grote Wielen is a recently built marina on the Grote Wielen, a lake and nature area on the northeast edge of Leeuwarden. The harbour has 135 permanent berths and ten places for visiting boats at a passanten quay. Boxes are rented by the year to sailing and motor yachts alike. The grounds have night lighting and evening harbour security. Overnight visitors pay 10 euro per night plus tourist tax. From the lake a short run along the Bonkevaart brings you into the Leeuwarden city canals, and the wider Frisian network of lakes and channels is open in every direction. The address is Bûtlân 1, on the water east of the Camminghaburen district.
