Jachthaven De Eerste Aanleg
Location: Scheendijk 7, Breukelen, Netherlands
Jachthaven De Eerste Aanleg lies at Breukelen on the river Vecht, at the edge of the Loosdrechtse Plassen, one of the main sailing areas of the central Netherlands. The harbour holds around 150 boats plus a number of houseboats, with both summer berths and winter storage on offer. It operates as a full-service yard: engine work, carpentry, hull repairs, rust treatment and paintwork are done on site. A cafe-restaurant with a terrace overlooks the water, and the rental fleet includes sloops, motorboats, rowing boats, canoes and SUPs. The harbour has long been a base for fishing clubs. Breukelen itself, with its Vecht country estates, is a short walk away, and Amsterdam is reachable by water via the Vecht.
