Jachthaven De Brasem

Jachthaven De Brasem fronts the Braassemermeer at Oude Wetering in the Kaag en Braassem municipality, midway between Leiden and Amsterdam by water. The harbour welcomes visiting yachts at a guest pontoon with an integrated wave breaker, and shore facilities include free showers and toilets, free WiFi throughout the harbour and Miele professional washing and drying machines. Restaurant Aqua stands on the premises, while a supermarket, bakery and pharmacy lie within easy walking distance in the village. From the berths the open Braassemermeer offers good dinghy and cabin-boat sailing, with the Kagerplassen, Westeinderplassen and the Ringvaart of the Haarlemmermeer all directly accessible.
