Comfortparc Wessem is a modern marina on the Limburgse Maasplassen, the chain of gravel-pit lakes along the River Maas that forms the largest connected watersports area in the Netherlands. Berthed at Waage Naak on the edge of the old Maas village of Wessem, boats have immediate access to open lake sailing and the through route of the Maas itself. The harbour trades on comfort: secure, gated pontoons with electricity, a well-kept facility building with bread and snack service, and a floating restaurant overlooking the basin. Demand is high and permanent berths are often fully taken. Roermond, with its shops and marinas, lies a short cruise to the north.
