Jachthaven Camping De Rousant
Location: Nittersweg 8, Lauwerzijl, Netherlands
De Rousant is a small harbour attached to a quiet campsite at Lauwerzijl, just outside the fishing village of Zoutkamp where the Reitdiep meets the Lauwersmeer. The harbour is modest: sources list a handful of fixed moorings and visitor places at around one euro per metre per night, plus a launching ramp for trailer boats. The campsite is small scale, with shaded pitches by the water, and the whole site suits crews who want peace rather than facilities. From here the Lauwersmeer is minutes away, the Waddenzee is reached through the lock at Lauwersoog, and the Reitdiep runs inland to the city of Groningen.
