Jachthaven by Knaap

Location: Oosterkade 5, Ter Apel, Netherlands

Jachthaven by Knaap lies at Oosterkade 5 in Ter Apel, at the southern end of the Groningen canal network close to the German border. The harbour offers 110 moorings, with outer-canal jetties reserved for boats with an air draught above three metres, plus camper pitches and around 2,000 square metres of storage with maintenance and repair services. A pavilion with bar and restaurant, run as Koekies & Boefies by Knaap, serves indoor and terrace guests seven days a week, and the harbour doubles as a social enterprise through day programmes with Zorg & Welzijn Knaap. A Doerak motor cruiser can be hired, and the excursion boat De Vondeling runs guided cruises.
