Jachthaven Broeresloot shelters around 100 boats behind a restored Frisian farmhouse on the Broeresloot at the edge of Sneek, a short cruise from the Sneekermeer and the Brekken lakes. The marina occupies a quiet dead-end road with open views over farmland, yet the historic town centre is within easy reach by bicycle. Berth holders and visitors have electricity, water, showers, toilets, a harbour cafe with restaurant, a playground, WiFi and parking. Sloops and open boats from 5 to 23 feet can be hired at reception, none of which require a licence. The site now trades alongside Verblijf bij Bynt, holiday apartments created in the old farmhouse overlooking the waterway.
