Jachthaven Breskens

Location: Oosthavendam 3, Breskens, Netherlands

Jachthaven Breskens lies at the mouth of the Westerschelde in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, the first Dutch harbour inside the estuary for boats from the North Sea. It has 580 fixed berths on floating docks with water and electricity, plus about 100 visitor places; the harbour states there is almost always room for passanten. Facilities include showers, a laundry with washers and dryers, and a restaurant on site. From Breskens crews can head to the Belgian and French coast, up the Schelde toward Antwerp and the Flemish canals, or into the Zeeland delta. The village has shops and fish restaurants near the harbour.
