Jachthaven Bourtange / Camping 't Plathuis

Location: Bourtangerkanaal-Noord 1, Bourtange, Netherlands

Jachthaven Bourtange is the small harbour of Camping 't Plathuis on the Bourtangerkanaal, a short walk from the star-shaped fortress village of Bourtange in Groningen. It has 25 visitor berths and 5 fixed berths. Facilities are shared with the campsite: a toilet building, a canteen with free wifi, and a disposal point for chemical toilets. Self-check-in kiosks handle arrivals outside office hours. The campsite is ANWB-recognised and Recron-certified. Via the canal, boats can continue to Sellingen along the Ruiten Aa, part of the small-craft routes through Westerwolde. For crews on the southeast Groningen network, the fortress, restored to its 1742 state, is the main reason to stop here.
